Job Description
The Lab Technician is responsible for controlling all pretreatment and paint processes. The position also documents all parameters and checks, equipment, processes, and products. The Lab Technician is constantly developing continuous improvements to the processes and ensuring each part of the process is always in compliance with the control plan. The Lab Technician will also work with managers and quality team to communicate all records.
Location: Thomaston, GA
Salary: $15 - $16 /hour (starting pay is based on experience)

Lab Technician Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Titration of pretreatment processes.
Chemistry of paint processes.
Analytical checks as needed.
Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure control plan specifications are met.
Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
Investigating and troubleshooting any issues with the pretreatment and paint systems.
Developing and maintaining record keeping of all checks and processes.
Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes.
Utilizing proper PPE when handling raw/hazardous materials.
