Job title: Industrial Engineer
Rang Technologies Inc has openings for Industrial Engineers in Piscataway, NJ and other unanticipated locations nationwide.
Duties:
Support projects that will result in improved manufacturing costs and/or enhanced quality.
Run routine problem-solving investigations including root cause analysis tools such as fishbone diagrams and 5 Why analysis.
Contribute to development and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including process flow charts, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Perform duties in the areas of time standards, line balancing, and process simulation.
Support the execution of improvements in manufacturing, utilizing data analysis and metrics to build a business case and then deliver on execution.
Support Manufacturing in the review and analysis of manufacturing procedures, make recommendations for manufacturing methods.
Work on simulation software such as Simul8, Arena, ProModel, etc.
Participate in the designing and development of manufacturing processes for new and existing products. Participate in execution of Industrial Engineering and continuous improvement projects for Manufacturing.
Optimize production lines to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work procedures.
Leverage existing dashboards and available data to support analysis and recommendations.
Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner.
Create standard work procedures. Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of product designs.
Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and quality control protocols.
Requirements: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering, Mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
