Buyer I
Location : Westfield, IN - 4 Days in Office w / option for 1 Day WFH
Length of Contract : 12 months - Mon. through Friday - 8am to 5pm
Opportunity to Convert : Yes, based on performance
- Will be responsible for indirect and direct purchasing.
- Preferred Degree : either an Associates or bachelor’s in business or engineering
- Needs to have 1 to 3 years of previous purchasing experience preferably in Regulated Industry and / or Medical Device
- MRP Experience (Material Resource Planning) & SAP Needed experience
- Needs to have the ability to Build Relationships with suppliers, needs to have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, must be a quick learner, and be motivated to get the job done.
- Must understand what a Quality System is and how it interacts with the buyer function
- Will interact with vendors, cost center owners, site manufacturing and engineering teams, and System Quality team, other Buyers, and Receiving / Warehouse teams for the processing of PO's
- Must also be good with Data Analytics for Supply and Demand functions
- Must have experience with MS Office Suite, Excel and PPT
