This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
This position is not eligible for telecommuting.
Essential Functions :
- Inspect, troubleshoot, adjust, align, repair, refurbish Optics Prime Mission Equipment (PME) and associated support equipment using optical test and measurement workstations in a Lab environment.
- Perform Depot related repairs and refurbishments on Optics utilizing mechanical drawings, electrical / electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering sketches, Technical Orders, and vendor / shop manuals.
- Provide skilled support to Optical equipment installations, modifications, and removal projects.
- Perform Preventive DEPOT Maintenance (PDM), Unscheduled DEPOT Level Maintenance (UDLM) and Emergency DEPOT level Maintenance (EDLM) on Optics Range PME.
- Perform other duties / cross utilization as assigned.

The hourly rate for this role is determined by a Collective Bargaining Unit and ranges from $30.89 - $38.58. RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education / training and preferred skills, and knowledge.
