Job Overview:
The In-School Suspension Supervisor and Student Support Specialist will oversee students assigned to in-school suspension (ISS) and provide additional support for behavior management and other student issues. The role ensures a safe, structured environment conducive to completing academic work while addressing behavior-related challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor students assigned to ISS, ensuring adherence to school rules.

Communicate with teachers to collect and distribute assignments to ISS students.

Provide guidance on behavior improvement strategies and conflict resolution.

Collaborate with counselors, administrators, and teachers to address behavior concerns.

Maintain a record of student attendance and progress during ISS.

Support other school functions, such as classroom management hall monitoring, or assisting in crisis intervention when needed.
Qualifications:

Experience in education or student support roles preferred.

Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills required.

Ability to maintain a structured, respectful environment required.
Part Time: 29 Hours a Week
