Duties and Requirements:
- Oversee production and ensure quality of work performed.
- Understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Interpret drawings, including vessel layouts.
- Maintain general knowledge of vessel operations.
- Collaborate effectively with other trades/contractors.
- 5 years of shipyard experience required.
- Night and weekend work may be necessary.
- CDL preferred.
- 6 paid holidays after 90 days of employment.
- 2 days of sick pay annually after 90 days of employment.
- 2 days of bereavement pay after 90 days of employment (according to policy).
- Eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days of employment.
- Eligible for 401k plan after 1 year of employment with a 4% company match.
- 40 hours of vacation time after 1 year of employment, increasing to 80 hours after 3 years.
