Ranger Power seeks a Finance Operations Analyst to join its team. The ideal candidate will support the VP of Accounting & Finance on day-to-day finance support for the company; financial documentation, reviewing and editing Letter of Credit (LC) forms, compiling settlement runs for payments, and assisting with security deposit coordination. This role will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including interconnection and business development, to ensure financial processes run smoothly. • Analyze and support the implementation of best practices in financial accounting and finance policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Review and edit Letter of Credit (LC) documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Compile settlement runs for payments.
• Assist with security deposit tracking and coordination for interconnection and business development teams.
• Act as a connecting point across departments to facilitate collaboration and sharing of financial information (e.g., pulling and explaining financial data, reviewing financial models, etc.)
• Collaborate with accounting and legal to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding financial requirements.
• Support ad hoc financial and operational tasks as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 – 5 years of experience in finance, treasury, or a similar accounting or reporting role
• 2 years of experience in the renewable energy industry preferred (or comparable experience)
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized individual with an aptitude for accounting and a facility with
• numbers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an analytical approach to problem solving, and thorough work ethic are essential.
• Experience with financial documentation review and compliance tracking.
• CPA recommended but not required
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills are required.
• Ability and willingness to travel to monthly team meetings and events.
