Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various pieces of heavy mobile equipment including but are not limited to dozers, motor graders, excavators, and loaders in support of safe and efficient completion of projects.
- Operates heavy equipment which may include but is not limited to: track dozers, excavators, motor graders and front-end loaders
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment; clean equipment
- Perform various activities including but not limited to road building, fine grading, sloping, banking, backfilling, loading, excavating, stockpiling, maintaining road berms, and loading trucks
To be considered, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Job Location
Monahans, Texas
Candidate must be willing to travel from Texas, Colorado, and Arizona
Job Requirements
- Preferred one (1) year of heavy equipment operating experience
- Preferred experience in the maintenance and operation of mobile equipment, construction equipment and/or equipment
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
- Must be dependable and report to work on time
- Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., safely climb ladders, and regularly walk on uneven ground
Criteria/Conditions
- May be required to work a non-standard schedule which may include shift work (other than day shift)
