What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Motors Certified Automotive Instructor position at Ranken Technical College?
Responsibilities: Include the following, but are not limited to instructional planning, teaching, and evaluating students in a live work setting to include shop safety; assist in the maintenance of lab and classroom equipment; and participate in available training to keep current in the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master ASE Certification.
- L1 Advanced Certification.
- General Motors World Class Certification.
- Experience working with transmissions.
- Teaching experience preferred but will train.
- Ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate in MS Office.
