Position Overview: We're seeking motivated individuals to join our team of Independent Medical Couriers. You'll provide vital courier services to healthcare facilities, including clinics, hospitals, and private residences. Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver medical samples, supplies, and reports on assigned routes
- Ensure specimen integrity during transport
- Use our smartphone app to manage pickups and deliveries
- Communicate with dispatch team during operations
- Check clinic lockboxes and document pickups
- Provide excellent customer service to healthcare facilities
Minimum Requirements:
- Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle (4-cylinder, 2012 or newer)
- Valid driver's license and state-required auto insurance
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
- Smartphone compatible with our app (Apple or Android)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in related fields or the gig economy such as medical courier, package courier, Amazon, FedEx, USPS, Uber, or Lyft
- Strong problem-solving skills and independent work ethic
Compensation:
- Independent Couriers are paid a flat rate per day depending on the expected route time and distance along with weekly performance bonuses; our objective is for drivers to make between $18 - $24 / hour after taking the cost of fuel into account.
