Position Overview
The Level III Support Technician performs advanced support functions within Client Support Operations and Projects Management at Rapid Technology Solutions (RTS). This role works within the TechOps WorkGroup, reporting to the Support Manager while collaborating with the Senior Systems Engineer.
Technical Requirements
- Maintain one or more certifications: Comptia (Security , Network , Server ), Microsoft certifications, or equivalent
- Strong experience in virtualization technologies across multiple hypervisor platforms
- Advanced network configuration and troubleshooting abilities with Fortinet, Mikrotik, Meraki, Ubiquiti, TP Link Omada
- Configure networking protocols including VPNs, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing, SD WAN, and remote orchestration
- Microsoft 365 expertise including Intune, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint
- Windows Server knowledge including Active Directory, DNS, Azure AD Connect, Remote Desktop/VDI
- Hardware management experience with IDRAC, IPMI, and similar technologies
- Backup solutions expertise with tools like Veeam
- Ticketing and documentation systems like Connectwise PSA, ITGlue
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Systems Support and Failure Triage
- Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance of client systems
- Technology Implementation and Technology Review
- R&D Initiatives and client training
- Documentation and billing information maintenance
- Participate in projects and routine maintenance tasks
- Support interdepartmental communication within TechOps
- Assist with client hardware/software system support beyond L-II capabilities

Required Experience & Skills
- HS Diploma, GED, or Technical Degree
- 5 Years Technical Experience (Including Academic Experience)
- Advanced Training Certifications (Comptia, Microsoft, etc.)
- Knowledge of systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and security
- Technology or Data Analysis Experience
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Strong communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Lifting 25 lbs solo, 50 lbs with assistance
- Operating computers for extended periods
- Standing for extended periods
- Working in non-climate controlled areas
Compensation
- Full-time position: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
