RCC seeks applicants for the Accountant position who share RCC’s values of integrity, diversity, equity, and inclusion, excellence, access, and learning for life. This is a full-time 12-month classified staff position. RCC has an excellent benefits package, and the salary range will be $55,000 – $65,000, commensurate with experience. This position will be located on the Glenns campus.

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- General knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience preparing accounts receivable invoices, AR reconciliation, and cash
- Experience preparing journal entries
- Experience with preparing AR Year-End Audit Schedules
- Experience with processing payments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
- High proficiency in Excel and Word
- Advanced experience preparing student billings, and deferred revenue
- Strong knowledge of scholarships, financial aid and return to Title IV processing
- Experience with Peoplesoft applications
