What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions and Records Technician position at Rappahannock Community College?
RCC seeks applicants for the Admissions and Records Technician position who share RCC’s values of integrity, diversity, equity, and inclusion, excellence, access, and learning for life. This position is part-time without benefits and works 29 hours/week at our Warsaw campus. The anticipated hiring range is no less than $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Proven interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to perform detailed work under pressure.
- Experience in one or more college/university student service areas.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
