The Medical Sonography Instructor and Coordinator at Rappahannock Community College is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced educator to join our faculty team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in diagnostic medical sonography, developing and implementing curriculum, and coordinating clinical education with classroom instruction.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement curriculum for diagnostic medical sonography programs
- Coordinate clinical education with classroom instruction
- Evaluate and ensure the effectiveness of clinical experiences
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field and appropriate credentials and experience specific to adult cardiac sonography
- Current unencumbered RDCS or CCI certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first 6 months of employment
- Three years of documented clinical experience as a cardiac sonographer
- Proven track record of teaching and mentoring students
