RCC invites you to apply for an adjunct nursing instructor position at our Glenns and Warsaw campuses and our remote clinical agencies to provide laboratory and clinical supervision for all levels of nursing students. Nursing faculty work across programs to provide for the educational needs of students. Adjunct instructors are invited and encouraged to participate in the governance of the nursing unit.

Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in nursing (MSN), RN license with three years of experience in medical/surgical nursing.
Preferred requirements: Critical Care, Maternal-Child Nursing, Pediatric Nursing and/or Mental Health Nursing experience desirable in addition to medical/surgical experience. At least one year of experience teaching pre-licensure education preferred. Must possess a strong desire to teach adult learners.
Nursing Clinical Instructor(s) for Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program:
Preferred requirements: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN), Critical Care, Maternal-Child Nursing, Pediatric Nursing and/or Mental Health Nursing experience desirable in addition to medical/surgical experience. At least one year of experience teaching pre-licensure education preferred. Must possess a strong desire to teach adult learners.
Nursing Laboratory Instructor(s) for the Practical Nursing program:
Minimum requirements: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN), RN license with three years of experience in medical/surgical nursing.
Preferred requirements: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) with the above experience plus long-term care experience. At least one year of experience teaching pre-licensure education is preferred.
Nursing Clinical Instructor(s) for the Practical Nursing program:
Minimum requirements: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma with at least two years of medical/surgical nursing experience.
Preferred requirements: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher with the above experience plus long-term care experience. At least one year of experience teaching pre-licensure education is preferred.
Nurse Aide Instructor(s):
Minimum requirements: Associate Degree in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing or higher, at least one year full time experience teaching adults, at least 2 full-time equivalent years geriatric nursing practice within the last 5 years, preferably in a long-term care setting. Evidence of completion of the Nurse Aide Train-the-Trainer course.
Preferred requirements: Significant work toward or completion of higher degrees in nursing. Evidence of teaching experience in health care programs at the collegiate level.
