Job Overview :
As a Tier 1 Helpdesk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking IT support. You will be responsible for handling incoming tickets, resolving basic IT issues, and escalating complex problems to higher-level support teams when necessary. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
Provide first-line support to clients by resolving password resets, connectivity issues, software installations, and basic network troubleshooting- Respond to incoming tickets promptly and prioritize based on urgency- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support team as needed- Document all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes and procedures- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred- Proven experience in a customer service or technical support role- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively- Basic knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and software- Certifications such as CompTIA A or Network are a plus
