Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patients during surgery and recovery, and preparing patients for surgery. You will also assist the Veterinarian in medical, surgical, and dental procedures, and provide compassionate care to patients and clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, preparing estimates for procedures, and discussing financial commitments with clients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a High school diploma or equivalent, Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or License (LVT), and at least 2 years of experience in anesthesiology. You must also be proficient in monitoring and administering anesthesia, as well as comfortable reading ECG's during anesthesia. Additionally, you must have a strong organizational and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
