The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care for patients he/she is called to care for. The CRN is responsible for providing clinical expertise to defined areas of the Medical Center.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current registered nurse license in the State of New Jersey
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- Exhibits self-direction and use of a broad knowledge base, critical thinking, delegation, problem solving skills and protocol development
- Exceptional verbal and non-verbal, written and listening skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences and function in a collaborative role
- Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple complex situations simultaneously
- Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Behavioral Health experience.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Instructor Certification.
