Under the guidance of the Associate Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management, the Director of Admissions will lead the development and execution of comprehensive recruitment strategies aimed at attracting a diverse and qualified student body. This includes overseeing a student communication plan, organizing outreach events, and managing the Enrollment Center to ensure efficient enrollment processes for prospective students. The Director will collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure that all recruitment communications are consistent with the College's branding and strategic messaging. As a representative of the College, the Director will participate in recruitment events and provide both qualitative and quantitative data reports to inform strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Director will lead and guide the admissions team to ensure a seamless experience for prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment.
Essential Duties:
Recruitment Strategy
- Analyze enrollment trends and design data-informed recruitment strategies to achieve admissions goals established by college leadership and the AVP for Strategic Enrollment Management.
- Develop and oversee multi-channel recruitment initiatives, including chat sessions, call campaigns, and other outreach efforts.
Collaboration with Marketing
- Partner with the Marketing team to ensure recruitment communications adhere to the College's branding standards and align with marketing messages.
Team Management
- Lead and manage the Admissions team to implement recruitment strategies, ensuring objectives are met.
- Oversee the Enrollment Services team in the day-to-day operations of the Enrollment Center.
- Supervise the Enrollment Center Coordinator and provide leadership and training to team members to meet performance goals.
Technology and Data Integrity
- Collaborate with the CRM manager for effective use of the Customer Relationship Management system to achieve recruitment, outreach, and enrollment objectives; assist with upholding data and coordinate relevant training to the team.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and present monthly and annual reports, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data on prospective students, recruitment strategies, and Enrollment Center performance.
Enrollment Process Oversight
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure students navigate the enrollment process effectively and in compliance with college policies and procedures.
- Design and manage recruitment and Enrollment Center processes, programs, special events, and outreach activities.
Professional Development and Compliance
- Identify and coordinate professional development opportunities for staff to ensure adherence to local and national recruitment standards.
- Promote the College's mission and goals, emphasizing diversity and sustainability in all recruitment activities.
Performance Metrics and Training
- Monitor team performance against key metrics and provide ongoing coaching and training to address gaps.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Three to five years of experience working in college admissions and recruitment with knowledge of and the ability to implement recruitment strategies and effective communication plans required. A minimum of three years of prior supervisory experience in Admissions is required.
Knowledge of BANNER database is required.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the College effectively to prospective students, parents, and external partners.
Must be proficient in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Demonstrated understanding of strategic enrollment management, recruitment processes, and student communication strategies.
A positive attitude with the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Ability to be both a team player and capable of working independently in a detail-oriented role.
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural office environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree, preferred.

This is an exempt position with a regular workweek of 37.5 hours.
Additional hours are required during peak registration periods and for engagement in nights and weekends.
