What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Leader position at RAS Companies?
RAS has an opening for an Territory Sales Leader. As a Territory Sales Leader, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth by strategically leading and managing sales and business development teams. This role will collaborate with senior leadership in the development of long-term business development strategies to meet business objectives. The Territory Sales Leader will manage Business Development staff and will be responsible for effective leadership, training, and development.
Job qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years in the insurance industry with at least 5 years leading sales teams with a proven track record of profitable growth.
- Proven experience creating long-term revenue producing sales program
- Previous people management experience required
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
- Decision making, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to travel 25-50% with overnight stays is required; company vehicle will be provided
The successful candidate should reside in SD, MN, IA, NE, KS, MO, WI, OH, or IL.
