You will work directly with our company marketing manager and will be responsible for executing the Rascal House brand’s digital marketing vision.
The right candidate will have great people skills and knows how to balance their creativity, time management, and organizational skills.
This is a hybrid position where you will need to be onsite for content creation, but the rest of your work will be done remotely. This is a contractor position, giving you flexibility and the opportunity to create another great income stream. This is not an hourly or W2 position. Compensation based on experience.

Job Description:
As the Social Media Coordinator you will play a key role in executing the Rascal House brand digital marketing vision. This will involve managing and driving brand social media engagement, managing online brand reputation, and providing general support inside the marketing department. You will have a set of metrics that you will be responsible for achieving each week (don’t worry, we’ll give you the tools you need to reach ‘em!)
You will need to showcase your social side both online and offline. This will involve driving engaging, meaningful conversations online, and arranging meetings to further relationships face to face. This will also involve responding to guest comments and concerns, and remedying any issues related to a guest’s experience.
Creativity is a must. You will be responsible for creating content that engages our audience while working within brand standards. This will include having a knack for creative writing when drafting brand copy such as post captions, a creative eye to put together a quality social media calendar, and a great eye with video, photography and editing for composing quality posts.
Requirements:
- Social Media knowledge (familiar with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok)
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Great people skills! You will be working closely with team members, as well as talking to new people online and in person
- Creative writing skills
- Amateur video, photography and editing skills a plus
- Experience representing a brand in a customer service and/or marketing setting
- Time management skills
- Organizational skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Online Guest Services
Manages online guest support through social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, email) as needed
- Social Media Engagement
Drives guest engagement with brand by building digital relationships with online guests
Starts and joins relevant conversations online with Rascal House at the center of the conversation
Executes brand social media strategy and is responsible for content planning and creation
- Online Brand Reputation
Owns and executes online comments and ratings on review platforms for all Rascal House locations
