What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Jockey position at Rastelli Brothers Inc?
Job Description: To assist the warehouse by operating a yard jockey truck and perform other warehouse tasks.
Duties:
- Operate a yard jockey truck
- Safely move and transport containers/trailers back and forth from yard, plugin spots and to the bay doors
- Start, stop monitor and maintain the containers/gensets and report any noted issues
- Perform warehouse duties as necessary ? order picking, order verification, product receiving, product lumping and/or product labeling
Related Experience/Requirements:
- Forklift certification is a plus / willingness to become certified is required
- Prior driving experience / CDL license
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Job requires workers to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to: step, climb, balance, squat, kneel, bend and reach above shoulders as needed.
