Financial Analyst - Blue Polymers

Purpose To assist the Accounting Department using independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize workload to ensure highest value and best services. The Financial Analyst must be a team player and must possess strong attention to detail and the necessary judgment to plan and prioritize tasks efficiently.   Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Performance must reflect an appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.                  General Policy Reconcile all inter-company accounts monthly. Process treasury functions electronically. Record cash flow transactions, transmissions and reporting timely and accurately. Ability to prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts. Back up key functions within the accounting and human resources departments. Assist in the completion of special projects. Uphold the Blue Polymers Code of Conduct Standards. All other duties as assigned by Site Controller.   Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in accounting, finance, or related field. Experience: Ability to set priorities and maintain functional work environment. Intermediate to Advanced Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is a plus. Must possess excellent interpersonal, people management and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication.   Competencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA) To perform this role successfully, an individual must have experience achieving desired result(s) in their areas of responsibility.
