The Production Control Clerk records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired or service to be rendered, prepares work orders and distributes them to service technician or group. The Production Control Clerk dispatches and ensures satisfactory performance of service, keeps records of service calls and work orders, and may dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments using radio or cellular telephone equipment. He or she may perform any combination of the following duties: compile and record production data from customer service calls, work tickets, asset specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques. Prepare and maintain excel spreadsheets, Gantt charts, credit card logs and payroll documents. Maintain Google drive folders for all aspects related to contract deliverables and required documents. The schedule function includes develop and generate preventive-predictive maintenance schedules, update asset records, dispatch preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to staff or groups for accomplishment, record accomplishment and expended labor hours to perform the tasks. Additional tasks include writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by service technicians. This Clerk prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities, compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies charts production using chart, graph, or pegboard based on statistics compiled for reference by production and management personnel. As a Dispatcher calls or writes the customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service, keeps record of service calls and work orders, may dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments using radio or cellular telephone equipment. This clerk may be required to train new Service Order Dispatchers. This position may require infrequent travel to include overnight stays. Incumbents must have good communication skills and will be required to interact with the public, sub-contractors and Government officials on a daily basis. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills and be able to multi-task to ensure effective daily operations. Base hourly rate is $26.96, Health & Welfare is $6.45per hour and Pension is $5.00 per hour.
