Job Title: Property Manager
Location: Elmsford, NY
Position Overview: We are looking for a Property Manager to oversee our varied portfolio of properties along the Hudson, NY market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing different types of properties and a strong track record of maintaining high occupancy rates, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and efficiently managing property operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Management: Oversee the daily operations of single-family homes, multi-family properties, motels, and mobile homes.
- Tenant Relations: Foster positive relationships with tenants, promptly address their concerns, and ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction.
- Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and supervise maintenance and repairs, ensuring all properties are well-maintained and comply with safety regulations.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, collect rent, and ensure timely payment of expenses. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures.
- Leasing and Marketing: Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants. Manage lease agreements and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial metrics for senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including HUD requirements for mobile homes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of property management experience, preferably with a diverse portfolio.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in property management software Appfolio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of property management principles, local market trends, and relevant regulations.
- Certifications: Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar certification is a plus.

$60,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Create budgets, collect rent, pay bills and perform other duties to make certain financial objects are being met
- Monitor all new prospects and incorporate findings into marketing campaigns to help increase company growth
- Coordinates and oversees on-site operations including budget implementation, vendor relationships, contractor workmanship, rent collections, accounts payable, etc. to ensure smooth operations of the property
- Advertise vacancies, obtain referrals from current tenants, show units, and showcase advantages of locations and services to help obtain new tenants
- Facilitates resident move-ins/move-outs by negotiating leases, collecting security deposits and processing applications to ensure a smooth process
- B.A. preferred, High School Diploma required
- Some weekend and evening hours required
- Customer service or real estate sales background preferred
- Demonstrable skills in negotiation and selling
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
