Reports To: RavenTek Program Manager
Location: Washington, DC with flexibility for Telework (must live within driving distance)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: Full-time, 40-hours/week
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-exempt
Clearance: Secret
Position Summary
The Management & Program Analyst, Mid-Level will support the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) SEC and will perform administrative functions that service and/or fulfill a number of organizational management requirements to include advising leadership, maintaining databases, preparing administrative paperwork, drafting correspondence, recommendations and reports, and providing other administrative tasks as required. The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the USAID SEC contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support the USAID.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Applies existing and new policies within a dynamic environment.
- Identifies and advises on requirements while maintaining databases and records that reflect the fulfillment and/or status of requirements and/or systems.
- Prepares administrative paperwork, and maintains an awareness of the status of the organization's personnel actions; drafts correspondence, recommendations, reports, and memoranda related to management and administrative programs and issues.
- Provides advice and guidance to managers and employees on questions and situations related to the administrative services provided.
- Performs program liaison duties to address human resources administration issues that are not always susceptible to direct observation and analysis, such as developing informational materials based on knowledge of internal operations, agency human resources policies, budgetary constraints, and work priorities.
- Coordinates management reports for rewards and performance and other HR-related program services.
- Reviews, analyzes, and interprets human resources management requests.
- Recommends appropriate action or suggests alternatives, and alerts managers to problems that require USAID Human Resources office intervention or correction.
- Conducts periodic surveys of equipment and property use, recommending action as necessary to ensure economical and efficient use of equipment and property.
- Plans and coordinates office moves and reviews office staffing needs, plans, and goals to support the development of budget data and justification for review and approval.
- Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
- Submit Monthly Status Report to RavenTek Program Manager as required.
- Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly.
- Complete required compliance training as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Critical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, email applications, and database applications.
- Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Process-oriented with well-developed problem-solving skills.
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of two years’ professional administrative management and human resources administration experience.
Special Requirements
- Must have a Secret security clearance.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
Work Environment
Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.
Physical Demands
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
