Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Owner/General Manager to oversee all areas of business operations at Ravines Wine Cellars. This role entails setting the tone for an exceptional customer service culture within the Tasting Room and ensuring our vision and service philosophies are executed professionally. The ideal candidate should know how to deal with money and budgets for a small business and be able to put business rules and sales plans into action. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator must be adept at handling changes in directives and managing customer service situations as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Owner/GM in implementing and managing all operational aspects of the winery.
Lead and inspire Hospitality Manager and staff, fostering a culture of exceptional customer service.
Ensure that the winery's vision and service philosophies are consistently upheld.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Oversee day-to-day operations, in the various departments that operate within the company.
Understand and manage financial and budgeting concepts to drive profitability.
Handle customer service situations with professionalism and poise.
Adapt to changes in business and policies, and communicate these changes to staff.
Assist in coordinating events
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role, ideally within the wine industry or upscale hospitality sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Understanding of financial and budgetary management in a small business context.
- Ability to assist in developing and implementing strategies and policies.
- Effective problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing situations.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and business tools, i.e., Google Workplace, Tock, Wine Direct(currently) or other POS systems
-Must be able to work weekends and lift 50lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
