What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Assistant position at Raw Seafoods?
The Marketing Assistant is a passionate and high-energy professional who is accountable for implementing assigned marketing strategy to support all aspects of business activities and brand awareness, including but not limited to:
Website and social media content management, photography & videography, content development for use on websites and social channels.
This position will work in an effective, efficient, and creatively collaborative partnership with the Marketing Manager to ensure content is implemented, managed, and developed in a cohesive, on-brand manner and aligns with the overall vision and position of the brand identity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Plan and schedule impactful video and photographic content as assigned.
· Manage day-to-day updates to social media platforms.
· Develop industry-leading sales support materials, both digital and print.
· Develop highly competitive, stylish, and modern packaging to assist in the disruption of retail and food service category sell in.
· Develop design templates for sales and marketing presentations.
· Work closely with compliance team on NFP edits and updates as needed.
Qualifications
· 1 year working closely with marketing leadership on brand development and enhancement in specialty foods, food service, retail, or related segment, as well as developing impactful sales support materials for a large-format sales team with many needs.
· Experience with photography & videography; portfolio preferred
· A passion for marketing and a desire to continue to learn and excel at this passion to impact a business.
· Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, graphic art, design, or related creative field
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to manage time, prioritize projects and multi-task effectively.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google G Suite required.
· Proficiency with modern creative/graphic design tools [photoshop, Illustrator, GIMP, etc.]
· Experience with Slack, Asana, MS Teams, or comparable collaboration and project management tools desired.
