Position Summary:
As part of our back-of-house team, you’ll work alongside experienced bakers and chocolatiers to produce fresh pastries, assist in the chocolate-making process, and help with daily prep and production. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to start a career in the bakery or pastry arts, with on-the-job training and a welcoming team ready to show you the ropes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pastry & Bakery Assistance: Assist in preparing and baking pastries, cakes, and breads from scratch, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Chocolate Production: Support our chocolatiers in crafting chocolate treats, including molding, filling, and packaging chocolates.
- Prep Work: Help with ingredient preparation, organization, and inventory to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
- Kitchen Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
- Learning & Development: Show a willingness to learn new techniques, recipes, and processes in the bakery and chocolate-making areas.
