We are looking for a skilled and motivated Tractor Pan / Scraper Operator to operate heavy machinery in support of our heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience operating large earth-moving equipment, including tractor pans and scrapers, and will be responsible for grading, leveling, and moving materials as part of a collaborative team.
What Will You Will Be Doing?
- Safely operate tractor pans pulling dirt to move and grade earth, rock, and other materials on construction sites.
- Ensure that the equipment is in good working condition by conducting pre-operation inspections.
- Maintain effective communication with other team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform any other duties related to construction equipment operation as needed.
What Are We Looking For?
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating tractor pans, scrapers, or similar heavy equipment in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as required by the job.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
