Raxis Engineering, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive MEP Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems drafting, either in construction or design, and will play a key role in ensuring quality plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee active construction projects, including:
- Attending construction meetings
- Conducting field surveys
- Reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs
- Providing on-site clarifications as needed
- Perform internal quality control by reviewing engineering plans prior to client submission
- Conduct utility service investigations and coordinate applications with water, sewer, gas, and electrical utility providers
- Visit project sites as necessary to support investigations or clarify scope
Qualifications
- Experience in MEP drafting using Revit
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across several active projects
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in MEP drafting using AutoCad
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $25–$30 per hour (equivalent to $52,000–$62,400 annually)
- Bonuses: Quarterly performance-based bonuses tied to project margins and employee performance
