Job Summary :
The Quality Supports Facilitator (QSF) provides quality oversight of 4-5 homes while directly supervising Community Support Supervisors (CSS) and Lead Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). The QSF ensures compliance with agency standards, regulatory requirements from DHS, DCFS, IDPH, and BQM, and all RGA / CLR protocols. They coach, train, and mentor team members to provide excellent, person-centered supports and uphold agency values.
Leadership :
Acts in alignment with agency mission and values in interactions with people supported, families, and team members
Ensures adherence to agency policies, procedures, and program-specific protocols
Empowers and supports team members to uphold agency standards
Collaborates with CSS, LDSPs, and DSPs to provide person-centered supports
Onboards new team members and ensures compliance with AFSCME contract
Team :
Provides and documents CSS and LDSP training
Participates in the interview process for new team members
Responds to team member communications promptly and professionally
Attends meetings, actively contributes ideas, and ensures adherence to agency and union guidelines
Monitors operations, oversees system usage, and runs reports for accuracy
Advocacy :
Promotes people's involvement in meaningful activities and advocates for their needs
Encourages person-centered practices and addresses service needs proactively
Acts as the main contact for emergencies outside regular hours
Community Partnership :
Supports community participation of people supported to establish relationships
Ensures compliance with various standards and represents RGA positively in the community
Requirements :
Position Requirements :
The QSF must embody RGA's mission and values, demonstrate leadership skills, and provide guidance and training to team members. They should be adaptable, independent, and able to meet deadlines and guidelines effectively.
Education / Certification :
High School Diploma / GED
Valid Illinois Driver’s License
Certification / Licensure : Complete CANTS, LEADS, and State Police checks as required
Experience :
Previous Direct Support Job Experience
3-5 years of Previous Supervisor Experience (Preferred)
1-3 years of Previous Supervisor Experience
Abilities :
Physical abilities such as sitting, lifting, carrying, walking, driving, and more
Proficiency in computer skills, MS Office, and other requirements as specified
