Ray Laethem is seeking a reliable, and hard working Parts Counter Person to join our team. As a Parts Counter Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers and technicians receive the parts and supplies they need for their vehicles, equipment, or machinery in a timely and processional manner. KEY JOB ELEMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting walk-in customers in the parts department with their orders
- Work with technicians & service advisors to ensure accuracy of parts orders needed
- Monitor parts inventory levels and submit orders for replenishment when needed
- Receive and check-in parts department order from FedEx, UPS, etc.
- Use the computer system to look up parts and generate orders
- Stay up to date with product knowledge and new inventory
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Valid driver’s license
- Personal Auto Insurance
- Minimum 2 years Automotive Parts Experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and carry parts and materials up to 40 lbs
- Computer proficiency and experience necessary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is always changing
