Automotive Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities Include:

• Post vehicle wholesale and retail sales transactions
• Post daily banking items for contract fundings and other EFT items as necessary
• Reconcile the bank daily
• Payoff floorplan daily and floor vehicles as necessary
• Reconcile the floorplan account monthly
• Assist with inner company accounts receivable reconciliation each month
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
• Submit and reconcile expense reports
• Must maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials
• Other projects and duties as asked

Qualifications/Requirements – Accounting Specialist:

• Must have at least 3-5 years dealership experience in multiple areas of the accounting office including accounts receivable, accounts payable, deal posting, inventory, floorplan, finance reserve, and deal posting
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Utilizes exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and emphasis on quality
• Proven time management and follow-through skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines
• Possess a high level of dependability, maturity, confidentiality, and courtesy
• Displays superior written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills.
• Displays tactful, mature, and professional demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills
• Available to work some later evenings at month-end close if necessary
• Uses problem-solving skills and past experience to overcome workplace challenges, develop new processes, and define outcomes.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
