Ray's Appl Market in St Mary's, KS is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Meat Wrapper to join our team!
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and presentation of our products, while maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Wrap and package meat products to the highest standards, adhering to our food safety and handling protocols.
- Assist with receiving and stocking meat products in the kitchen.
- Ensure that all food products are stored and handled in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to all cleaning and sanitizing schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering customer questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and helpful manner.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of food safety and handling regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail environment.
- Strong sales skills, with the ability to promote products and increase sales.
- Ability to sanitize and maintain a clean kitchen area.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
