Ray Stone Inc. is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our team. This position is Part time, benefit eligible. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 3:30 PM.
Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources department in various administrative and operational tasks. This role ensures that HR functions are carried out efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the organization. The HR Coordinator will handle employee relations, assist with recruitment, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Job Duties:
- Assists with the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Prepares and manages onboarding documentation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
- Acts as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system.
- Processes HR-related documentation, including contracts, performance reviews, and termination paperwork.
- Assists in the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Handles the intake, filing, and follow-up of worker’s compensation claims.
- Processes and maintains accurate records of leave requests and approvals.
- Ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Prepares HR reports as required, including headcount, turnover, and other HR metrics
- Assists in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
- Performs other administrative tasks as assigned by HR management.

- AA in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR role
- Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.3
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand; and use hands to handle/lift objects. The employee occasionally must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds. Additionally, the employee, on occasion, must crouch, kneel, or climb stairs.
Most work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. This position requires substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Must have the ability to walk short distances.
