Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review client invoices in accordance with firm policies and client guidelines.
- Process and submit invoices via electronic billing platforms (eBilling).
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries regarding invoices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and reports.
- Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants, and finance team members to ensure accurate billing.
- Stay informed on legal billing best practices and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of legal billing experience at a law firm
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Elite, Aderant, 3E) and electronic billing systems.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
