Paralegal Community Association & Real Estate Law
Location: Bridgewater, NJ
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our full-service law firm. This role primarily involves supporting attorneys in community association representation, with additional responsibilities in residential real estate, landlord/tenant law, corporate law, and litigation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, legal documents, and reports for community association representation.
- Prepare and file liens, resolutions, contracts, and collection-related legal documents.
- Review and analyze contracts, assist with contract negotiations, and maintain compliance with legal requirements.
- Communicate with property managers, clients, and opposing counsel regarding case status and legal matters.
- Support attorneys in litigation processes, including drafting motions, discovery responses, and case management.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and compliance requirements.
- Organize and maintain client files, court documents, and correspondence.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution.
- 2 years of experience in a legal setting, preferably in real estate, community association law, corporate law, or litigation.
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, document preparation, and court filing requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
