What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Supervisor position at Raycap Inc?
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the various inspection processes and the activities of the quality inspectors. This position will require supervising 1-10 people and will report to the Quality and Safety Manager.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Oversee quality employees
- Assist in overseeing/assigning quality duties
- Assist with training of new hires
- Work with production and other departments to resolve quality issues
- Keep and enforce the neatness and cleanliness of work areas
- Keep team on-track and working with good communications and positive behavior
- Review and approve timecards for assigned employees
- Participate in process improvement exercises
- Adhere to and enforce Raycap Policies
- Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality
- Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always endures duties of high-quality standards
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirement

- Ability to communicate verbally and through email, Basecamp, and other means
- Ability to read and interpret 2D prints and work instructions
- Follow and carry out assigned tasks in an organized and effective manner
- Ability to delegate tasks
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite and Outlook software
