What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator/Set-up position at Rayco Fixture?
Rayco Fixture is a family owned company producing modular fixturing for the quality industry. As a part of our team you will be expected to learn and grow within your position. We offer training to insure you are able to complete tasks as expected.
Some examples of expected skills include:
- Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting vises, three-jaw chucks, tools, and attachments.
- Load vises / bar feeder by lifting stock into position.
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces.
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Preform other tasks occasionally (i.e. sawing, stock check-in, cleaning)
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
