Title: Automotive Dealership - General Sales Manager
We are looking for a General Sales Manager to join our team here at Raymond Kia. We are the #1 Kia Dealership in the area the a brand new 31,000 square foot facility. We are looking for a Leader to help take our Team to greater levels.
General Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the Kia sales department, including inventory management, pricing strategies, and sales team performance.
- Train and supervise the sales team, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the latest models and features.
- Set sales goals and work with the sales team to meet or exceed these targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent service to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Work closely with the finance and insurance (F&I) department to ensure smooth and profitable transactions.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new vehicle releases to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to create effective promotions and advertising campaigns for new vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with all automotive dealership policies and industry regulations.
- Attend managerial meetings and contribute to the overall strategy and success of the dealership.
Sales Manager Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successful selling and management in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of the new car market and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and interact with customers.
- Proficient in various automotive software programs for inventory and sales management.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to maximize sales and profitability.
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on providing a positive buying experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
