Child Care Director

Overview
The Child Care Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our child care facility. This position is responsible for creating a nurturing, educational environment that promotes the growth and development of children. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for education, and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and the community.

Duties

• Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Supervise and support staff in their roles, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Foster positive relationships with parents through regular communication and involvement in their child's education.
• Manage daily operations including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular assessments of programs and services to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with local agencies and organizations to enhance community engagement.

Experience

• A degree in Education Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working with students in an educational setting.
• Background in higher education teaching or administration is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with children, staff, and parents.
