Overview
Looking for a junior associate who has some business affairs experience or who is looking to break into a business affairs role. Requires the ability to be flexible and occasionally take some calls/respond to emails early morning (7am-9am EST) and late evenings (8pm-10pm EST) to accommodate global markets. Needs to be highly responsive to needs/requests from both internal and client-facing teams.

Responsibilities
The Business Affairs Associate will help to ensure day-to-day operations are running smoothly and will touch a variety of agency business including client budgets and billing, creative project estimates, internal accounting and reporting, talent estimates/negotiations, and talent payments.

Compensation Range: $56,000- $67,200. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. Responsibilities

Associate will be responsible for the following when it comes to talent for global commercial shoots and recording sessions:
- Making sure they are union compliant.
- Contracts
- Talent Payments
- Cycle expirations
- Budget Actualizations
- Maintain organization of all costs billed to international client budgets for review with clients
- Develop agency estimates for all usage rights requests
- Cut POs to vendors
- Track incoming third party invoices and approve for payment
- Maintain tracker of upcoming/current/outstanding project estimates that need to be actualized
- Maintain a comprehensive tracking document for every shoot/session the agency undertakes
- Attend internal kick-off meetings to gather talent-related needs for every shoot/session
- Liaise with Executive Producer to keep Business Affairs up to date during shoot pre-production and to assess potential locations for proper workplace conditions
- Liaise with copy team to review final client approved script format
- Work with Controller and Senior Business Affairs Manager to schedule and follow through on talent-related deadlines for each shoot/session
- Work with Controller and Senior Business Affairs Manager to create and submit session and completion reports for talent payment during post-production
- Work with Executive Producer to collect invoices and receipts from shoot to actualize against client estimate/budget
- 1-3 years of experience or emerging from school/academic program
- Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience
- Attention to detail, time management skills, organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills
- MicroSoft Office experience (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
