ales Representative – Fabrication Shop
Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our fabrication team. This role is responsible for generating new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth in custom metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, a strong understanding of fabrication processes, and the ability to identify and deliver solutions tailored to customer needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the manufacturing, construction, and industrial sectors.
- Identify sales opportunities and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and customer referrals.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to client specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess client needs and provide technical guidance on fabrication solutions.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely project completion.
- Track and report sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote services.
Qualifications :
5 years of experience in sales, preferably in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial sales.
Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, materials, and industry applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications is a plus.
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience working with CNC machining, welding, laser cutting, or other fabrication technologies.
Existing industry network and established customer relationships.
