Job Overview:
The Project Accountant (PA) position with RBA Builders. serves an essential function in construction operations with responsibility for all aspects of job cost accounting including compliance with company policies and procedures as well as financial reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
The RBA Project Accountant is an integral support to the project management team with an efficient and accurate reporting of project profits, subcontractor payments, client billings, pending change orders, past due accounts receivable and timely recognition and resolution of various issues within multiple projects throughout Southern California.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of construction contract accounting, agreements, operations, and financing.
Basic understanding of general ledger accounts.
Understanding of internal financial controls.
Ability to protect sensitive financial information.
Eagerness to learn and grow.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
