Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others stay financially organized and will serve as the main point of contact for a group of assigned clients. This role will involve managing communications, monitoring task completion, and participating in monthly or quarterly review meetings with clients to ensure their financials are accurate and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison for assigned accounting and advisory clients.
- Monitor client accounts and assist with keeping financial records current and clean.
- Follow up with clients to collect missing documents or clarify information.
- Schedule and attend monthly or quarterly meetings with clients to review financial reports, discuss deliverables, and answer basic questions.
- Collaborate with the bookkeeping and tax team to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Support new client onboarding, including document setup and scheduling kickoff calls.
- Keep detailed notes in our CRM (Canopy) and manage task progress for each client.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and ensure clients receive updates as scheduled.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, client management, or administrative support (experience in a tax/accounting office is preferred).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Google Workspace and cloud-based tools (QuickBooks Online and Canopy experience a plus).
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and a commitment to confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting processes
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Confidence in leading client calls or meetings
