Must pick up equipment IN PERSONParking is NOT provided for contractorsABOUT THE ROLEAgency needs a Business Data Analyst to review data source systems (which thereare multiple) and communicate the details of the findings on each system.The Business Data Analyst will be utilized to review and assess the existing datasources within the agency and identify threats to data validity and reliability. Thedata systems analyst will work with the Division of Developmental Services, theDivision of Clinical and Quality Management, the Division of Administration, andstakeholders to identify and develop mitigating actions that when implemented willresult in eliminating or significantly reducing the adverse impact of identified threatsto data validity and reliability. Thus, increasing the ability of the department to attestto the reliability of the data source and the validity and reliability of the data itproduces. Current data exists in various data source systems and part of the threat assessment process the selected candidate will review datasource training materials; conduct subject matter expert and stakeholder interviews;shadow data source users; conduct source system table analysis, review,synthesize and prioritize all threats; develop and present actionablerecommendations to mitigate identified threats; and develop a mechanism to trackand report progress toward implementation of actionable recommendations. Threatsto data security will not be assessed as part of this process.The ideal candidate will have experience with MS Excel spreadsheets, Power Queryand data warehouse capabilities; experience in analyzing system problems,designing and testing standards and solutions, evaluating procedures andprocesses; experience working with structured and unstructured data and stronganalytical, interpersonal, and project management skills. The candidate must beable to liaise between management, program personnel, and the IT office and mustbe able to explain complex issues in a way that they all understand.
