Job Description:
Richmond Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) seeks a skilled Clinician I/II to support our Women's SUD Services. This position involves direct clinical service to clients, including intake, assessment, treatment planning, prevention services, case management, therapy, record-keeping, and report preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health and substance use disorder assessments and monitor level of functioning.
- Assist clients in identifying self-determined goals and jointly prepare individualized service plans.
- Coordinate case management services, link clients to community resources and medical services, and interface with other service providers and client support systems.
- Provide crisis intervention and prevention services to individuals and families.
- Provide consultation, education, and prevention services, as well as drug and alcohol testing.
- Document client assessment, diagnostic studies, individual service plans, progress notes, quarterly and annual reviews, discharge summaries, and other client-related data.
- Monitor and audit clinical and medical records for compliance with regulatory, reimbursement, and agency standards.
- Represent clients and RBHA in court and legal proceedings.
- Provide transportation assistance and child minding assistance to clients attending treatment groups, as needed.
Requirements:
- Master's degree with coursework in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Considerable experience working with clients with behavioral health disorders and substance use disorders in a behavioral healthcare or residential setting.
- Licensed Mental Health Professional, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, or license eligible required.
