New Pool Sales/ Design Consultant

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
· Meet with clients and conduct initial consultation.
· Design and develop a pool/outdoor living renovation for client.
· Price project and prepare the presentation materials.
· Present the proposed project to the client in your office or at their home.
OTHER ASPECTS OF YOUR ROLE:
· Actively pursues developing relationships with related businesses, such as landscapers and builders while establishing positive relationships for referrals.
· Participates in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
· Utilize company and manufacturer-provided software including Microsoft Dynamics, NAV, Pool Studios, 3D designs and Auto CAD.
· Prepares a variety of status reports as needed, including activity, closings, follow up and adherence to goals.
· Work from our office at Plano headquarters
· No overnight travel is required, though role will require some evenings and Saturdays per needs of client.
· Salary plus commission on sales during the first-year transitioning to a draw against sales commission with unlimited earnings
· This is a W-2 position with benefits including: car allowance, cell phone, & life insurance, optional health, dental, & vision insurance, and 401K.
EDUCATION/SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Degree preferred but not required.
· Three years of proven sales results in B to C sales; experience in selling big-ticket items (cars, houses, renovations, etc.) is beneficial.
· Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and CRM software is a plus.
· Key attributes such as: people skills, good presentation skills, desire to serve the client, professionalism, positive attitude, relationship builder, honest, conscientious, and ability to visualize finished construction projects.
