DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Generate customer invoices.

·         Process accounts payable invoices and payments.

·         Enter general accounting transactions.

·         Review and process credit card transactions.

·         Maintain fixed asset and accumulated depreciation activity schedules, post monthly journal entries for fixed asset and depreciation activity.

·         Assist with sales tax compliance and reporting.

·         Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

·         Assist in the preparation of financial information for outside accountants to complete tax returns.

·         Support various accounting projects as needed.

SKILLS

·         Excellent written and oral communication

·         Experience working with accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)

·         Experience working with MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook)

·         Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·         Experience:  5 years of experience in business accounting.

·         Education:  Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience.

·         Supervision Responsibilities:   None

·         Certifications:    None
